Welcome to Brenham Antique Center

Brenham, TX Antique Store

Driven by their passion to preserve the stories of the past, Mark and Rachael transitioned from the world of oilfield fabrication that they’d been in for 23 years to a life dedicated to uncovering and sharing antiques. This is their story, which led to the creation of Brenham Antique Center.

Rachael’s Passion Started at a Young Age

Rachael’s passion for unique treasures was sparked during her childhood as she explored antique malls with her parents. Surrounded by her family’s love for antiques, art auctions, and thrifting, her enthusiasm only grew stronger. Special moments with her Memaw, who showcased glassware, Coca-Cola memorabilia, Shalimar bottles, blown glass ornaments, and photography tales, added to her lifelong fascination.

Valuable Hill Country Experience

Mark’s childhood in the rural Hill Country was filled with valuable experiences. He spent countless hours with his grandparents repairing machinery, canning garden produce, cooking in cast iron, and restoring family heirlooms. Breathing New Life into a Historic Building

This couple’s shared passion for antiques and nostalgia led them on journeys during business trips and vacations.

In 2022, when the vacant BOSS (Brenham Office Supply Store) building from 1962 became available, Rachael envisioned breathing new life into the old structure. Over the course of a year, they embarked on a transformative journey to give the building a fresh purpose and bring an exciting new environment to Brenham.

Creating a Space for Preservation and Growth

In their mission to share their sentiments, Mark and Rachael recognized the significance of creating a space for people to pass on cherished possessions for future generations to enjoy. BAC aims to provide a solution, acknowledging that contemporary mass-produced items lack the quality of bygone eras.
